ZR Designs is the secret code name for graphic designer Alexander (Zander) Renault and his underground network of copywriters, account managers, web programmers, and other miscreants. 

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

Freelance Designer, 2006-present. Main freelance designer for SCL Health. Other clients include Johns Manville, Molson-Coors, Sheldon-Sowell Center for Health, Centura Health, Promise Keepers, University of Hawaii, Weaver Multimedia, Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church, The Creative Alliance, American Leprosy Missions, Colorado Biz Magazine, Comcast, and a whole heck-of-a-lot more, in healthcare, financial, tourism, sports, non-profit, recreation, construction, real estate, and iPhone apps.

Stratecom, April 2001-2006. Designed and illustrated ads, collateral material, branding material, direct mail packages, posters, billboards, and ad campaigns. Contributed to creative concepting.

Lance Jackson & Associates, Oct 1999-April 2001. Developed branding and collateral material, including corporate identities, brochures, folders, web sites, and ad campaigns. Extensive digital imaging.

Wiesner Publishing, Feb 1998-Sept 1999. Responsible for scanning and correcting photos, including extensive digital imaging for such magazines as Colorado Homes and Lifestyles and Colorado Biz.

Japan (yes, the country), March 1996-April 1997. Taught English to children and adults. Responsible for developing the curriculum and planning lessons. Designed and illustrated “alphabet people” posters as a successful teaching aid.

WHAT MAKES ME THINK I'M SO SMART?

Colorado Institute of Art, 2000 BA in graphic design. GPA 4.0. Blue ribbon winner in advertising as well as “best of show” at CIA student art show. Winner of Merit Scholarship for outstanding performance. Member of Alpha Beta Kappa.

University of Colorado, Boulder, 1995 BA in music. Four-year Out-of-State Tuition Waiver and winner of Fiske Scholarship competition for musical excellence. Member of National Golden Key Honor Society.

Mountain View Elementary School, Learned to read and write. And do math.
